Task 2 Lo3

 A camera lens is an optical device that is used in conjunction with a camera body to capture photographic images. The lens works by focusing light onto the camera's image sensor or film, and can be adjusted to control the image's focus, depth of field, perspective, and other characteristics.

There are many different types of camera lenses, each with its own unique set of features and characteristics.

Prime lenses: These lenses have a fixed focal length and cannot be zoomed in or out. They are often smaller and lighter than zoom lenses and can offer better image quality, wider apertures, and shallower depth of field.

Zoom lenses: These lenses have a variable focal length and can be zoomed in or out to change the magnification and field of view. They are often more versatile than prime lenses but may sacrifice some image quality, wider apertures, and shallow depth of field.

Wide-angle lenses: These lenses have a shorter focal length and can capture a wider field of view than normal or telephoto lenses. They are often used for landscape, architectural, and interior photography.

Telephoto lenses: These lenses have a longer focal length and can magnify distant objects, making them appear closer. They are often used for wildlife, sports, and portrait photography.

Macro lenses: These lenses are designed for close-up photography and can capture extremely fine details of small objects, such as insects, flowers, and jewelry.

For lo2 portraits are taken on sony camera. ILCE-6600. 30 mm. The focal length or the f  number of all the images was fixed it  was f/2.5  aperture 1/80 secs.  The ISO was 2000. The images are taken in low lights. The portraits are black and white. The angle of the photos is 180 degrees.

My maid was the main character and my driver played a little role in it. The color tone is light its not bright as the topic was domestic abuse so I wanted to keep it in low key portraits.

The editing software I used was the adjustments of photos in my laptop and a bit of editing was done on photoshop cs6.No photo manipulation is done on lo2 as it was not needed.
